Mercury Instruments, Inc., sets the standard for innovation in the design and manufacture of precision instruments for the natural gas industry. Pressure recorders, temperature recorders, volume recorders, volume correctors and battery-operated chart drives from Mercury Instruments are so accurate they have become the standard of the industry, so reliable they carry a four year warranty. From wellhead to burner tip, in countries around the world, Mercury provides the finest instrumentation available to measure and monitor gas pressure, temperature, volume and flow.

Electronics Products

EC-AT

The Mercor EC-AT is a battery-powered, microprocessor-based instrument that mounts directly on a turbine, rotary, or diaphragm meter. The instrument corrects metered volume for pressure, temperature, and supercompressibility. The EC-AT also displays totalized volume continuously and provides an "Audit Trail" log of time-based measurement information and operating parameters. Accuracy makes it the preferred choice for large-volume metering locations where even the slightest inaccuracy can amount to a sizable difference in revenue.

EC-AT Features

MINI-AT
Mercury Instruments' new MINI-AT offers easy upgradability to features you'll need well into the new century. A new generation of Mercury electronic corrector, the MINI-AT offers you a new standard for value and reliability while retaining all you love about Mercury plus new features with room to grow.

MINI-AT Features

Mini-Series

The Mercor Mini-Series of pressure, temperature, and pressure/temperature correctors are microprocessor-based instruments that mount directly on diaphragm, rotary, or turbine meters. They can correct metered volume for pressure, temperature, supercompressibility, and display totalized volume continuously. Economy makes the Mercor Mini-Series the preferred choice for small-volume metering locations.

Mini-Series Features

MINI-MAX

Mercury Instruments - a name synonymous with quality in the natural gas industry - offers its affordable MINI-MAX® Corrector for basic volume measurement and correction. Now you can get maximum performance value with compact electronic precision and reliability.

Mercury Electronic Recorder

The Mercury Electronic Recorder is a microprocessor-based unit that can be provided with up to two pressure transducers and one temperature probe. The time-tagged measurement information and operating parameters are stored in memory and may be retrieved directly with a laptop computer or remotely via modems. Pressure and temperature values can also be displayed on site.

Mercury Electronic Recorder Features

Mercury Modem

Designed for harsh environment operations, the Mercury Modem provides a new dimension to remote instrument access and data collection. Prudent engineering permits the modem board to retrofit inside existing ECATs and ERs or into a separate enclosure as a stand-alone modem. Stand-alone modems may also include a variety of I.S. Barriers, power options, and multi-port operation. Instruments connected to a Mercury Modem may be called by host computer systems to retrieve data, or the modem can call into Mercury Instruments' Alarm-Link software when an instrument alarm occurs.

Mercury Modem Features

4-to-20 Milliamp Output Board

Mercury Instruments offers a 4-to-20 milliamp output board to address customers' need for generating continuous analog signals on a variety of gas flow parameters. The board has two isolated current loops and provides signals proportional to the value of two selected parameters. The board readily interfaces with Mercury Instruments' ECAT, MINI, MINI-AT, and ER products.

Parameters commonly requested to be represented as 4-to-20 milliamp signals include the following:

bulletAverage flow rate
bulletInstantaneous flow rate
bulletDial rate
bulletGas pressure
bulletGas temperature
bulletCase temperature
bulletBattery voltage
bulletIncremental corrected volume
